Guest guest
Bah... I lost the email you are replying to... Good counsel...my mother has sensitivities tosulphur based compounds also....they don't appear to cause me much trouble as I have been taking MSM for quite some time now...didn't relieve the condition though... One thing I haven't tried that was suggested by my friend was to dilute the MSM in water and run it through a nebulizer... I started taking MSM becuase of the assumed elevated levels of histamine in my body... Burnt out (over worked) adrenals, no epinephrine to stop cascade of histamine reaction, combined with the lack of sulphur-based compounds I assume lead to an evelvated homocystiene level..I was exxhibiting all the symptoms associated with that too.... I tried TMG for the homocystiene but that seemed to aggrevate things more...The MSM along with B-Complex vitamins appears to have alleviated that problem... What a jigsaw puzzle this has been for me.....hopefully talking about it can help others too... Guest guest
Have you tried taking MSM along with vitamin C? This is the only way it worked for me. I read on the net on some sites that it isn't necessary to take C with it. I disagree noting my improvement. Sulphur seems to use C to get it to work better. Many supplements we take works better taking useful cofactors to get the job done. I found vitamin D is necessary to get magnesium to do its job. I thought that only applied to calcium, but surprise. Learning allot about why something didn't work for me the first time around.
