Guest guest
> Just a little more on this elite training stuff: Any one of us who has taught has watched a student " rise to the occasion " . That is, a beginning hopeless student who by the end of the internship has become a " doctor " . They have used the medicine to heal themselves, perhaps not " medically " to their possibilities. What has happened over the last 20 years in America (West?) is that these thousands of new practitioners (us) have become the best advertisers for Chinese Medicines. The word has been spread. Is it time to tighten the controls? It's a lot easier to say when you start competing againest your students in the marketplace. ;-) James: I don't know, how about a test for the most compassionate students? Or only the most humble. But how would those students ever get in? ;-) doug > > " James Ramholz " <jramholz > Re: better > > Doug: > > This is always an interesting---if unanswerable---question. I was on singular for only a week if that...had to stop taking it...turned me into a psycho-killer! I'm serious! It did not agree with my physiology at all...spewing vemon, biting peoples heads off...unreal. For my body the Zyrtec works much better...now I only make faces at little kids! Just kidding...lol The Zyrtec reall did a much better job for whatever it is sending my eosinophils through the roof... I'm going to look into the herbs you recommended because I just don't trust big-pharma putting all these different forms of HCL in me.... I drink loads and loads of water and that seems to keep the mucus...um...thin enough for easy removal. Apparently a high risk of pneumonnia(sp?) with this... I've also read in places that high-dose vitamin C does wonders for the lungs and even the MDs admit that they can't explain the mechanism but that it works....I might take it to tolerance and back off a bit, for a time. See how that works.... Hopefully I'll find a combo that gets me off Zyrtec.. Thanks for sharing that info Chris
Guest guest
Hello, I have asthma issues as well as issues with Big Pharma. I was hospitalized about 5 years ago with double pneumonia (pneumonia in 2 lobes of the right lung). They gave me anti-biotics via IV , Robitussin cough syrup and Benedryl (at night). When I was discharged from the hospital they gave me Levofloxin (sp?)...a nuclear strength anti-biotic. I took Vitamin C (Emergen-C by Alacer) several times a day (3,000 mg per day minimum per Dr Linus Pauling). I stopped taking the anti-biotic after 3 months (waaaay too long) and started re-building my immune system. In addition to the Vit C, I also took " Bronchial Formula " from Nature's Sunshine. It's one of their Ayurvedic compounds and works wonders. 1-800-223-8225 < www.naturessunshine.com > I was able to get off the nebulizer. I also use Lavender EO (essential oil) and Lavender flower buds (en masse in a closed container)...I breathe/inhale them. Lavender is anti-spasmodic and gets rid of asthmatic paroxysms. I live in a very polluted part of Texas where we have Orange Alert days (stay inside and don't breathe the air). I am now able to control my breathing issues with meditation, Lavender and Benedryl. Oh...I also recently bought some herbal tea for breathing problems. " Breathe Easy " by Traditional Medicinals. It works too. I use Accupressure on my self (Go-Jo technique) and that also helps Good luck....~malinda > Karen Peterson <kpeterha > Re: COPD > > I currently take the prescription medicine Singulair > to control my > asthma.
