Guest guest
Hi everyone As a new member I find it appropriate to present myself to the other members. My name is michel,I'm 41 years and I live in the Netherlands. My intrest in your group lies in the fact that for about six months now I have a weekly course of shiatsu and I just started an course by correspondence on acupressure. The shiatsu course can't give me a graduation certificate, the acupressure course can. After this course I'm planning to studie chairmassge and bach bloesem therapie(is a therapie that uses essence from flowers). In the future I hope to get a practice of my own.On a legal point of view the Netherlands are a paradise for starting a practice for alternative medicin. You have eight handlings you are forbidden to use,for example no anastetic,no operating procedures,etc..For the rest you have to follow the common ethics of a practitioner like privacy of a patiënt,not endagering someones health. If you follow these simple rules you can start a practice without any proof that you have followed any course. The sceptisism of the dutch people is the greatest problem.I'll see what the future brings to me.I find chinese healing very interesting and a medicin that is that old is sure to be effective. When I read the messages you have so much knowledge of the chinese herbs. The use of these herbs are unkwown here. The herbal treatements are based on european herbs. But I plan to buy some books on TCM so I can learn more on the subject. In the meantime I'm already learning a lot from the messages.Hoping to be helpfull in the future I send you all my sincerest greetings.
