Guest guest
Hi, I have been on the list for a while but haven't posted. I'm still on a major learning curve on chinese remedies in general. This question is mainly for my dog. He has a lot of fatty cysts/lipomas all over ... and in particular one just " blew " ... have been cleaning it out, trying to dispel all the fluids inside... but doesn't seem that it's just going to go away. Are there any remedies I could look at that may help in naturally " dissolving " these fatty cysts/lipomas from the inside? I've not had much luck with any supplements like omega 3s, etc. And while we're at it, if you've got anything good for fibrocystic breasts that may work too ... for both him AND me. Thanks! ******************** Lisa Edwards-Filu Darkside Mastiffs http://www.mastiffbigdog.com/darkside

I have to write something to add to this post that intrigged me with my old dog. My mother died last year and I took her 10 year old dog in. I had to change his diet because he had so much gas. Got him a lamb and rice formula that is easy to digest. Solved the gas problem and I noticed he had more energy. One thing about this dog was that he had lots of hard lumps in many places on his body, everywhere. I recall some of my other older dogs developing hard lumps in their old age. Vet said they were fatty tumors and not to worry about them. So I haven't worried. One year later this dog showed very strong symptoms of arthritis. He began limping and it was painful for him to go up the steps. I took him to the vet and the vet gave me a liquid supplement for him. Called Liquid Health and it has the regular joint support formula in it along with manganese and aloe vera juice. He showed improvement 1 week on this supplement. That dog food I gave him had the joint support in it too but I guess he wasn't absorbing it. The liquid seems more absorbable. 3 months later my dog came up to me one night and I loved him up following a body scratch and was shocked to find all his hard lumps gone! I am not kidding you one bit. I don't know exactly what helped this animal detox so well. I don't know if it was the joint supplement alone, because this supplement supports the sulfer pathway. Or could it have been the aloe vera juice? Don't know but I am very happy to see him looking so good. The person who asked about the lumps in the animals I wanted to make note that some animals have those lumps that are filled with fluid. I think this is different but don't know enough to comment. People can get similar cysts and they have to get them drained. I don't know the cause though. Liz D.
