Guest guest
I know Colloidal Silver to be helpful for burns. In fact if you apply it immediately after the burn you will not blister. But it takes the pain out for some time. You will have to reapply. At the health food stores they sell it in little bottle and it is expensive. But if you buy on the net in bulk its a little cheaper. I have a jar and I keep it on hand just in case. Many times I burnt my thumb cooking and I soaked it in Colloidal Silver. This is not a Chinese healing product though. It is in a very sensitive area and I've been applying a cool compress drenched in aloe vera juice. Can anyone recommend any herbs or other treatments that might be helpful at this time? Thank you, mjd Post message: Chinese Traditional Medicine Subscribe: Chinese Traditional Medicine- Un: Chinese Traditional Medicine- List owner: Chinese Traditional Medicine-owner Shortcut URL to this page: /community/Chinese Traditional Medicine

It takes many hours before the pain will go away. I generally leave it on all night and it will not blister. I can imagine that in some places it would be hard to tape it. I have found the live plant works very well. I dropped extremely hot water on my pants and the hot water caused the fabric to stick to my skin. Also, the oven door didn't have a gasket and after having the oven at 450º for an hour the handle burned my hand .. . . but after long applications of aloe it did not blister. My leg had a discoloration which has lasted for months, turned dark red, but did not blister or peel. I was amazed. Cat ^. .^ ~

You can apply it externally and take it internally. I normallu use 6c and 1 M potency, of course this is homeopathic medicine. Guest guest
--- The best burn cream ever is Ching wan Hung AKA jing wan hong. You need to get it right away it is most effective when used right away. I grabbed the wrong end of a burnt out sparkler once and put the ointment on imediately and with in a couple of hours I couldn't even see where I was burned. Do a web search or go to a china town if you have one. Thats where I got mine. I use a lot of moxa in my practicing and " ching wan hung " is a must so my patients don't get burned. Guest guest
Shit! Sorry that happened. I hate those metal things, anyway! I like the plastic ones. Sounds like she was trying to be sensative and helpful by warming them, but not such a good idea after all. Guest guest
Michelle: Your post made me really LOL. I've been doing the Aloe and it's healing (albeit, not fast enough!) I am going to have to find another doctor soon. Last time I was there they used some iodine to clean before inserting a catheter. I went into anaphlaxis. Lucky thing I was already near the ER. :-( Take care, mjd Chinese Traditional Medicine , " michellec " <michellec@n...> wrote: > Shit! Sorry that happened. > I hate those metal things, anyway! Guest guest
Yeah, not your normal post, was it. It does sound like you need to find a new doctor. Two times in a row...somebody's trying to tell you something.
