bananas may have desirable effects, but they are considered very cold and if you

have problems with your spleen and liver, you may need to eat very few bananas

and when you do, eat them with something " hot " for your spleen.

Thanks - I believe I asked before whether the banana could be eaten about half

hour before protein as I don't like to mix fruits and proteins too close

together.

The rib pain seems to have subsided some since I started eating one banana a

day. And with the huge amount of heat I had in my stomach and liver, it will be

a while before I get to cold, am I right?

But I always eat beef or lamb or egg yolks every days, so I am getting more yang

foods as well.

Which brings me to .... is there a URL which lists the condition or generating

properties of these foods somewhere I can look them up on occasion? Thanks -

Cat

i have posted this link previously, but will post it again:

you can't eat like the way you are describing. your spleen is causing the heat

in the first place, and the spleen needs warm or hot. you need balance in your

meals and you can even eat things that are bad as long as you balance them with

things that are good.

you need to think in a more taoist (balanced) way about nutrition because it

takes a while to figure it out - your liver needs certain stuff which may be bad

for your spleen, which needs stuff which may be bad for your stomach and liver,

etc. etc. etc.
