Currently I am having some CM and Acupuncture for clearing up phelgm and toxic in my body (according to the doctor). After consuming those medicine, I keep producing lots and lots of white milky colour (sometime sticky, sometime not) phelgm. It has been like this for almost 3 weeks. According to the doctor, those phelgm has been in my body for so long. Honestly I am quite worried. Is this related to infection or something like that? and also I came across this " healing crisis " phenomena in the Internet. My current condition is similar to those described. I don't know if there's a connection, but it seems as though your doctor could be right - your body's draining all the phlegm it has accumulated. If it was from an infection, it would probably be yellow or greenish, not white. The term `healing crisis' refers to an apparent speeding up of things that normally happen when you're ill. Instead of taking a long time to heal, it's happening in a shorter amount of time and the symptoms could be more severe. It could happen with chinese medicine as well.
