Guest guest
Hi all, First let me say I'm not a practitioner of TCM but I have studied the theories on my own and, in addition, I am involved and do practice Chinese Qi Gong. I am interested in modalities of strengthening spleenic function. This is what I have so far: Acupuncture. Moxibustion. Moxibustion can be used on points such as ZuSanLi to help strengthen the spleen. Herbs. Various formulas can be used to help strengthen the spleen. Diet. Selecting the correct foods which do not add to the already weakened condition of the spleen (such as sweet, fatty). Meditation. Tranquil sitting in meditation. The question to the group would be what addition things can be done. Also, What is the prognosis of a severely weakened spleen from birth using TCM? Can it be strengthened to a normal or even better than a normal person? Thanks in advance, Bill --\ -- Dial Broadband has arrived in most areas! Guest guest
I apologize for the erroneous information. Although both companies I mentionned have products aimed at various meridians, including some for all meridians, this information is not listed on their web sites, but it is in their brochures. I have had lots of luck with the Pacific Essences, but haven't tried the Aum Himalaya ones for meridians, just their regular ones. These products are pretty amazing, as the result is so subtle (but can be immediate) that one tends to dismiss their effect, and think that it's a natural thing. jamie farris <the_ghost_of_dickens wrote: you can try flower essences that strengthen the spleen. pacific essences founder works with a tcm practioner and each of her essences mentions which meridian is affected. aum himalaya also has essences for each meridian. you can e-mail them for more information. i have found that they are quite helpful. do a google search on those names to get their web sites.
