Christ, the Healer and Biblical references

Greetings,

 

Can everyone give me Biblical references to healing as it pertains to

five element and acupuncture?

 

I am sure that there are plenty of you wonderful people out there who

have come across passages in the Bible tha have given you Faith and

Courage and Inspiration to continue your work.

 

In the small knowlege that I have as it pertains to what I know must

be in there I know that over the years you must have found many

references to the facts of life and living that Christ promised would

come to us if we would love our neighbor as we love ourselves.

 

I ask this to bolster my position that " acupuncture understanding " as

I call it is the absolute truth in regards to the human body and

knowledge of this is the truth we all need to heal each other and our

fellow man.

In addition to acupuncture, you may look into Reiki.

 

Many Reiki practitioners believe that Christ practiced

a similar sort of healing.

You will not find that in scripture I am afraid. Christian healing relies on

the insight and power provided by the Holy Spirit alone, available only

through Christ, and most people involved in this work would be opposed to

the use of acupuncture (for Christians at any rate) as reliance on another

spiritual source of information, as they would be opposed to reliance on any

other 'energy' for healing. It is far from clear to me whether the origins

of the knowledge and understanding of acupuncture were purely based on

observation or if there was outside 'inspiration' at it's root.

 

As far as I am aware there is no specific reference to Chinese medicine,

though divination, astrology and magic are expressely forbidden, so for

instance the use of the I Ching would be.
