Guest guest
Hello all, I practice Qi Gong (Chi Kung) daily. I have learned many styles and Qi Gong exercises. The one I currently practice and one of my favorites is Wuji Qi Gong. This gong is a standing meditative exercise which is stationary and non-moving. The exercise is very simple to learn but difficult to practice as usually we like movement to think we are doing something. Wuji Qi Gong opens channels well, strengthens the internal organs, and cultivates Qi. Qi cultivation happens in two distinct ways. First from Universal Qi passing through the body vertically. Second by strengthening the internal organs to increase metabolism and the conversion of food into qi. I would suggest you find a teacher if you can to help you with Qi Gong exercises. hth, Bill ---- Original Message ---- ammi_pk Chinese Traditional Medicine Re: [Chinese Traditional Medicine] Your views on Chi Kung Thu, 20 Nov 2003 22:11:53 -0800 (PST) >greetings, >I hvent expereinced chi kung. will you please elaborate as to how to >practice. thnak you >tanveer > >free_thinker_pt <free_thinker_pt wrote: >Greetings. Guest guest
I practiced Soaring Crane Qi Gong during a medical crisis. I was told I had cancer in several places and would have to have an extensive operation. Qi Gong helped me with my feelings of depression and fear; the feelings would be gone after my session. Also, although I was doing a lot of alternative healing things (including Chinese herbs, energy healing), I credit Qi Gong with the feeling of vitality I had during what was suppose to be a very low feeling of energy in my life. I think it helps get us in touch with the Source. I have to confess that I only practice sporadically now. I am trying to start and maintain too many things at once.
