Guest guest
Does anyone have any suggestions on treating intestinal parasites (roundworms and pinworms) in someone who is badly deficient? Most remedies I see for parasites call for a fruit fast during treatment, but this would be disaster for someone who is spleen/kidney deficient. Any suggestions? Fruit is a very common place to pick up the parasites from improperly cleansed skins. Look up Hulda Clarke's, John Christopher's or Richard Schulze's parasite cleanses for quality supplements and directions. They have a variety of approaches. Let her choose the one she likes best. Homeopathy would be another option. S

Parasites thrive in damp environments. The sugar content in fruit makes it very dampness producing. I do not have parasites but I tend to be deficient and therefore am prone to digestive damp and develop symptoms of excess dampness and cold quite easily. What has helped me the most has been sprouted grains. Grain aggravates dampness yet in this form they become more alkaline and more drying without being depleting. Use spelt or kamut rather than wheat. Have parasites been diagnosed through stool sampling? Do not assume that one has parasites based on symptoms. If they have been found then they of course would need to be addressed with herbs and foods that are specific for them as the others suggested.
