Guest guest
Mara, Thank you so much for your heartfelt post. Friends such as you warm my heart so. Thank you for these suggestions. Tony has been taking some of these supplements, but we will add the rest. I want you to know how much I admire how you take charge of your health. And yes, sometimes we do feel that fear but the body knows how to heal itself with nature's help. And, of course, faith and prayers. A most important part of healing. In all this, you have eased my own fears. Homeopathic Ledum? If I may ask, where can one get this? I broke an arm and dislocated my shoulder from a fall some years ago and, oh my gosh, I can relate to the pain. I have the utmost respect for your family not opting for narcotics. And until yesterday, I thought that this may be the only option. (I was getting desperate) But now, and because of you I see that there are other natural ways. I thank you. Guest guest
, Do you have any homeopathic labs/sales companies where you are? Ledum is a very common homeopathic remedy. Let me know. If not, I will give you some web sites in the USA, Canada and England where you can get that remedy. By the way, it's also very good if you get stuck up on a rusty fence ( like I did!) You will avoid tetanus. huggs Rich In a message dated 5/15/2009 3:36:28 P.M. Eastern Daylight Time, luellamay129 writes: Mara, Thank you so much for your heartfelt post. Guest guest
Dear ,Search using "homeopaths Texas" [note US sp!! LOL!] and you should find one who can tell you where to get the remedies. Some dispense them themselves, which makes it easier for their patients. Ask for 30c pillules. To change the strength is useful. Put one pill in a glass of water and let it dissolve. Take a teaspoon of the water on a plastic, not metal, spoon how ever often it is needed. Replace the water and immediately you will change the strength of the remedy, so it's a different strength each time. I'm sure there will be someone on the list who will have a better idea of how often, but I'd start with every 1/4 hr until some relief is felt, then every half hr, then hr and so on as the pain improves, unless a homoeopath tells you differently. There is something else that reduces cancer pain and that is coffee enemas. I don't know whether it would reduce other pain. Someone on the list is sure to know. We could hear when my uncle needed another enema - initially it was every 4-5 hours!Funny thing - one DS was in hospital with exquisite hip pain. The pain had settled without painkillers but would flare every time a dr poked it. DS was quick enough to grab the next dr's hand before he got prodded again. When I brought all his juices in, on ice, he showed me a bunch of tablets in his bedside drawer and asked what he should do with them. He was mortified that they had wanted him to have pessaries because of "needing" a radioactive isotope injected. He had told them, no my mother would never permit anything radioactive, so I won't need pessaries. Painkillers in the rectum? No way, not ever!Hope there is much improvement very soon.Love, Mara--- On Fri, 5/15/09, May <luellamay129 wrote: May <luellamay129 Re: Hernia & Inflammationoleander soup Date: Friday, May 15, 2009, 12:35 PM Mara, Thank you so much for your heartfelt post. Guest guest
, Are there any health food stores around??? Most will carry 30c Ledum Palustre. When I fell off a horse onto a very rusty metal fence, it went right through my arm. I was more concerned about the horse!! In my case,I took a dose of 200c Ledum. Then waited for several days to see how the injury was going to respond. Then repeated with another dose of 200c Ledum. And of course cleaned it out real well with liquid Calandula and medical grade Hydrogen Peroxide. 30c Arnica Montana was used for the shooting pain for a day or so. Well, I'm all fixed up. Used Castor Oil on the skin to dissolve the scaring. I normally take 2g Vit C a day. I upped that to 4g Vit C a day for a couple of weeks. Just in case, I made a yummy garlic/onion soup to happily consume. And continued my daily raw juicing. Yes, you are right about the colloidal silver, but I didn't have any at the time. Sorry about the longggggggggggg story. I feel that sharing experiences may help someone else in the future. Now, places to get homeopathic remedies. Notice I didn't say medicines................. Yes, I know that the tubes say that, but I want to stay more then an arms length away from the FDA. I don't want anyone snooping around in my shop. You can order from: Amazon.com homeopathyworks.com homeolab.com Hmedicine.com Boiron.com StandardHomeopathic.com hpathy.com 1-800homeopathy.com homeopathyworks.com Eheathland.com remedysource.com nationalcenterforhomeopathy.org has nice reading. There are WAY more then that, just google homeopathy and a vast world will appear. Sort of notice I have a passion for this stuff? Anything one does for 35 or 40 years, grows on you. Thank you for all of the wonderful posts that you have been sending out. You are a blessing and a sweetie. Hugs back........... Rich In a message dated 5/16/2009 7:48:24 P.M. Guest guest
, Just for the record, I have been using Goldenseal tincture and homeopathic Ledum professionally for more than 20 years as an alternative to tetanus shots. Ledum would be for any puncture wounds and Goldenseal would disinfect the wound and help to draw the edges of any wound closed. The risk of tetanus comes from dirt, dust, and manure - mainly horse manure. I have used this protocol with many, many old order Mennonite families (think horse & buggy) and myself for a few needle sticks along the way; and never has anyone had any complications using these 2 remedies. Ledum is a very common homeopathic remedy and you should be able to find it in any health food store that carries basic homeopathic remedies. I'm not sure where you are at, but Whole Foods, Wild Oats, or even a little Mom & Pop store should have that on their shelves. Aim for a 30C potency to keep on hand. Guest guest
Hi Lyne, Thank you for this information. I am in a very rural area and only have mom and pop health food stores that I know of. However, I will see if the bigger town (which is not really that big) have Whole Foods or Wild Oats. For sure, I will keep Ledum in my medicine cabinet.
