Guest guest
Dave, I was shocked to say the least to read your comment on this company. I have researched EOs for many years.. I do not consider myself an expert by anyone's definition nor do I sell EOs. I have no affiliation with Appalachian Valley Natural Products. I do however consider Mr. Butch Owens the owner of Anatolian Treasures the most honest and most knowledgeable person on the subject. There are allot of conmen out there selling lies and overcharging for low quality oils. Mr. Owens is NOT one of them. That is obvious by the link you posted yourself http://www.av-at.com/prices.html Trust me these are the best prices available anywhere. I have done my homework. If Mr Owens did not answer your question satisfactorily its probably because it was more or less a request for medical advice. You must remember there is the little group out there of well paid policemen called the FDA. You must find the answer yourself. In case you are unsure here is a good place to start. http://www.aromamedical.com/articles/internal.html Hope this helps you. Kathy TO ALL Anyone interested in learning about or buying EOs I highly recommend this source. http://www.av-at.com oleander soup , "capndavy67" <signaldavid wrote:>> I've received 20ml bottles of "BLACK SEED OIL" with no concentration info, only "DILUTE PROPERLY" and the warning "EXTERNAL USE ONLY".> > This was from the website titled "Anatolian Treasures" ... http://www.av-at.com/prices.html> > Now what?> > Anybody have info on how to use this stuff??> > Dave>To All: Upon emailing (Appalachian Valley Natural Products) with respect to concentration and mixing instructions.......The tirade I received from the owner of this firm you would not believe. Guest guest
Hi Dave, Of course it has no concentration listed. When you're purchasing an oil that is undiluted, there's no need to list anything else. I bet there was a batch/lot number that could be tied back to testing. If you had asked for a copy of the test spec sheet Butch would have emailed it to you--maybe at a charge since you only bought a few ml, not a few litres. From the test results, you would learn the components of the oil but not the concentration because the concentration was 100% as are all of his oils unless otherwise indicated. When you know the components of the oil you can accept or reject depending on your personal sensitivities but at this point you're getting into medical stuff. Oils should always be diluted and in the USA one must always add the not for internal consumption caveat. Now if you took the time to learn more, you'd eventually discover who uses which oils in what manner. No doubt that's why you asked the question but as with even this list, there's a body of basic knowledge that's so easy to dig out and sort through it's reasonable to wonder if you're with some government watchdog agency. Butch Owens is very concerned about sensitization. Many MLM marketers and other so-called natural practitioners often advise the use of essential oils neat. There are very real dangers to this practice and Butch has waxed long and eloquently on this subject for years. I'm sure you'll find such info easily on a search. I'm too tired to look thru my hard drive for you. And as Kathy wrote, he's educated so many people regarding safe use of essential oils for so many years that...well, I won't project. No, he doesn't pay me either, but I have bought EOs from him for 15 years. Saralou Kathy wrote: Dave, I was shocked to say the least to read your comment on this company.
