Guest guest
Hello Pam, Healthpost have 3 brands of Essiac. www.healthpost.co.nz Morlife Ezziac Tea 250gm @ $22.50Nature's Sunshine E-Tea 100 capsules @ $28.00 (6 caps per day)Radiance Esiak 100 caps @ $39.70 All these look expensive but are cheaper than chemists or health food stores.Does your local health food shop have the separate dried bulk herbs? That might be a cheaper way to go - just mix them in the right proportions. I'm sure there is an article by the Aussie, Walter Last re the ratios. Guest guest
Hi Mara,It wasnt me who was asking about Essiac, but yes I have taken it over the years and I found it helpful when first diagnosed with BC.I would make it up into a tea, keep it in the fridge and when I made my nocturnal visits, usually 2,I would take a swig.As it is sposed to be taken on empty gut.Its action is to help the lymph glands to get rid,to clean out,so I figured if it helped the body to house clean as it were my lymph would welcome it....Pam NZ - Maracuja OS Monday, April 20, 2009 7:51 PM Essiac tea in New Zealand Hello Pam, Healthpost have 3 brands of Essiac. www.healthpost.co.nz Morlife Ezziac Tea 250gm @ $22.50 Nature's Sunshine E-Tea 100 capsules @ $28.00 (6 caps per day)Radiance Esiak 100 caps @ $39.70 All these look expensive but are cheaper than chemists or health food stores.Does your local health food shop have the separate dried bulk herbs? Guest guest
Sorry for mistaken identity! Cool! Healthpost doesn't have the individual herbs but they have slippery elm for just over $100 per kg. Big saving if you can afford the initial outlay. We use quite a bit as DS had gut problems and if he eats gluten or casein by mistake, we use it to heal the gut.Have used Essiac too for myself and DH.
