And here's a VERY important key they keep "forgetting" to tell people. Cancer, like any other disease, can be contained for YEARS! Meaning, that though a person has cancer, they are not dying of cancer. By keeping the rest of the body up with supplements, air, food, etc, good attitude, exercise--you still have cancer, but not the symptoms of cancer. Um, I didn't say that very good. Let's see--you still have cancer cells, but they are not disabling you.

It's like when AIDS first was discovered. Everyone died of aids. Every doctor knew that. Every person knew that. Except those that exercised, ate healthy foods, etc--they not only survived, but thrived. Didn't loose the weight, never had the sores. The thing that baffled the doctors was that their blood still showed full blown aids! Yet they went on to live a regular, normal lifetime.

So--it could be that's where you are at. You may still have tumors. They may still be cancerous. But they are being held in control by the health of the rest of the body.

Our bodies are designed to live, and deal with all sorts of things. Being healthy doesn't always mean being 100% clear of any disease. It means the body is controlling how it reacts to the disease. So technically anyone can have any disease--MS, cancer, Aids, Hep C--and yet the person can be healthy.

I believe you said you use to do Egoscue. Remember in the book where he said that the coroner came out and asked the wife if her husband was in a wheelchair. She looked surprised and said no. He said "but he had to use canes and could hardly walk, right" She thought he was talking about someone else because her husband had zero problems with walking. Turns out his spine was shot--the doctor said that there was no way he should have been able to walk upright. But because he used the correct muscles that were made to do the job, even though his disks were really bad with arthritis, he never had any of those symptoms!

That's the way it is. Our bodies are miracles. I'm happy for you. :-)

a great laugh today!

My son Cris and I went for a brisk hour walk in the Oakland hills today. We stopped at the top of a steep hill to catch our breath, and I remarked in surprise that I feel great. I went on to say that I don't know whether it's adding glutathione to liposomal Vitamin C, or dental surgery (probably too soon), but that feeling good probably doesn't mean that the cancer is getting smaller, just that I feel physically healthy. He stood there gasping and laughing at me, saying he couldn't keep up with me. (Cris is 42, and I'm 70.) He said that my perspective is skewed; my onco said eight months ago that according to statistics, I'd be dead in less than a year, or taking chemo which would leave me weak and nauseous, but give me an additional year. And here I am bitching about feeling physically great!! We laughed and hugged! Rhoda

Rhoda, I loved your story! I am so glad you are feeling so well. I love to hear about special moments with loved ones.

You have proven those doctors to be wrong. Feeling physically healthy is a very good sign and I am looking forward to the day that announce that the cancer is indeed getting smaller. This is a very good sign.

You are the greatest!

Melly,

Actually, I'd be very wary of shitake mushrooms if they are dried. Most packaged, dried mushrooms come from China and Lord knows what they contain. Fresh mushrooms are ok... they are domestically grown.

Have you bought - read - referenced any of the books or sites that profess yeast, fungus and mold are the main culprit???????????

Spores are everywhere and when you eat the mushroom you are ingesting the reproductive part of the fungus. These spoors have only one purpose.and that is to reproduce more fungus. But they need a nice dark, warm and moist environment ------let see how about the gut or better yet that area of the lymph that isn't draining well or the areas covered in fat next to the bottom of your lungs.

Researchers only get paid if they are doing research and cancer funding is available only from Pig Pharma so your not going to see anything coming from these hooked on the system bottom feeders. As per http://www.mercola.com/townofallopath/index.htm Even is there own children are dieing from the money driven misguided understanding of the subject. As Tovia would say "TRADITION"!

Yes I think there is a link and wouldn't consider consuming mushrooms and I really do miss cream of mushroom casserole but the EFT has quenched my desire for it.

Rhoda,

Great to hear you are doing so well. I just checked my emails after 3 weeks

(work, family being sick, daughter breaking her foot and then finally Easter

holidays to get over it all kept me away from my pc at home for a while) and

that bit of news made my day!!

No spoors don't die easily. Try another excuse and see if the answer changes.

Mmmmm.... sounds delicious. Try adding some miso paste or veggie bullion (MSG free if possible) for a change of taste. Even just a dab of soy sauce will do.

Melly,

The fungus family is like the plant family, some of its members will kill you

dead, others will make you sick, others will heal you and others will feed you.

Giving up mushrooms because they are a fungus is like giving up vegetables and

herbs because they come from the same family as poisonous plants.

Bob,

It depends upon the yeast. Some of the probiotics in our gut are yeasts and

these friendly yeasts help control the pathogenic ones. As a former victim of a

very bad candida yeast infection I am very familiar with yeast issues and the

allergies and sensitivities that can develop.

Bob is right, Nutritional Yeast is a perfect example considered a "wonder food" and technically a fungus it is rich in B-Complex has 18 amino acids and 15 minerals it is often used in vegan/vegetarian recipes and taste delicious. It is used in the fantastic becoming quite famous and popular "Cheesey Kale Chips" that even people who eat terrible and live off junk food love. They are raw vegan (dehydrated) and very cheesey. Nutritional Yeast makes very good vegan macaroni & cheese.

No sorry I don't I'm not much of a cook or should I say "uncook". I buy them. I know they take quite a bit of doing. Matt Monarch from the rawfoodworld.com interviewed the owner of the company "Blessings" that makes them and it was shown how they are made in her kitchen and it is all done by hand, each piece of Kale is separately prepared, amazing!

Easy to find on google-

Cheesy Kale Chips

Ingredients:

1 large bunch of curly, green kale, washed, large stems removed, torn into bite

size pieces

COATING:

1 cup cashews, (soaked 2 hours)

1 red bell pepper, seeded and chopped

juice of 1 lemon

2 t. agave (optional-I don't add, I like them more salty + savory)

1 T. nutritional yeast

1/2 t. himalayan pink crystal salt (use more or less to taste)

Preparation:

Put coating ingredients in Vitamix. Blend until smooth. Using your hands,

massage coating onto kale pieces getting it inside of curls. Put on teflex

sheets (don't worry about flattening them, they're better bunched up) and

dehydrate at 105 overnight or until coating is dry. Slide onto mesh screens and

dehydrate 12 hours, or until very crispy.

** note: mine just took about another 4 hours after overnight and flipping. YUM!

==========================

Since cashews are not on the Budwig diet I suppose you could substitute some

other nut.
