Guest guest
Hello everyone, It has been about a month since Audrey started taking the Oleander capsules and program for her breast cancer. I am happy to report she is doing very well so far. She is now up to four per day, she built up to that over a period of about two weeks. She takes the capsules on an empty stomach, as a forum member recommended (thank you) to avoid an initial digestive problem. The best thing that is happening now is that her hemoglobin level is finally coming up for the first time since last September. She is regaining a little strength every day, and it is truly wonderful to see. One thing that is still bothering her is a nagging pain in her hip (bone?) that is unexplained and a little scary. She won't go near an oncologist to get scans, which can be frustrating to me as I like to know what is going on.Her point is " what would we do different, whatever it is? " , which is hard to argue with. Anyway, so far,so good. Best wishes to all from Northern Michigan, Al and Audrey Secrest

Guest guest
That sounds like good news to me, Al. I have no idea about the hip pain, though it is possible that there might be some cancer mets and pain at a cancer site, particularly in the bones, is common when oleander and other cancer fighters begin to successfully attack the cancer. Whether that is happening with Audrey or not is anyone's guess until she gets a professional diagnosis. Although I do not like the idea of having too much repeated radiation for scans, it really is a good idea to try to find a sympathetic doctor or facility to monitor markers, tumor progression/regression and such. Otherwise you are pretty much operating on feel alone, and that may not be a good idea. If it were me and I knew I had cancer (which would pretty much require a professional diagnosis to begin with) I would want it monitored. Did you say Northern Michigan? I take it you are probably not wearing shorts and flip flops like I am today . . . . but that is OK - you can gig me in July when it is 105 in the shade! All the best and please keep us posted, Tony--- On Tue, 4/14/09, livingsupergreen <livingsupergreen wrote: livingsupergreen <livingsupergreen update on my wife Audreyoleander soup Date: Tuesday, April 14, 2009, 8:59 PM Hello everyone,It has been about a month since Audrey started taking the Oleander capsules and program for her breast cancer.
