Below is the request by Joyce; she is the moderator of hepatitis/children/CAM -(complimentary medicine.) I will post the link in my next reply/post. Hello Everyone ~ We need hundreds and hundreds of people to write to the Institute of Medicine (IOM) by Wednesday 4/8/09 to request fair CAM representation and funding on this Committee – click here to add your comments. This new Committee has the potential for deciding how over a Billion dollars of U.S. funding is allocated, as well as which treatments are considered " effective " in the United Sates (which may potentially limit a patients access to some medical treatments). We need people to write in who are impacted by any illness (Hepatitis, Autism, Cancer, AutoImmune, etc.) and have benefited by CAM. It will not be until many, many voices speak up about LDN and CAM's benefits that we will finally be heard. Comments will only be accepted through April 8, 2009. Please ask them to appoint to the Committee three or more Integrative / CAM medical professionals, as well as three or more patient advocates who have been helped by Integrative / CAM medicine. Please also tell you're your story about how CAM has positively impacted your health – so they can see that CAM does work!! Please feel free to copy / paste any part of my Comments that are included at the bottom of this message that may assist you in writing your Comments to the Committee.
