Guest guest
Duke,Did you find that it took a while to get the hang of EFT or feel its effects? I've tried it over the years and can't 'get' it. I'm willing to stick with it if it takes time. Guest guest
Hi Janet, If I may just jump in here. EFT takes practice. Sometimes lots of practice. This should be done several times a day. If there should be underlying long term emotional conditions, it does take time as in this case, you have to go through "layers" of issues. If it is possible to remove oneself from the particular stress, these steps should be taken. It all depends on the individual and the particular situation. Notice though, the initial relief you feel while tapping on the points. oleander soup , lostrin <lostrin wrote:>> Duke,> > Did you find that it took a while to get the hang of EFT or feel its> effects? Guest guest
Janet: For me the cancer had me down and from time to time I just couldn't. Couldn't think well. couldn't eat. Couldn't find help. Couldn't put whole sentences together. Couldn't spell. all of my friends and business contacts disappeared never to be seen again. I decided to get cable for better news having been a stock broker and the DIY and C-Span triggered a glimmer. One day while surfing I tripped over Joel Osteen http//:joelosteen.com and since then it has been a lot better. I am not much on religion but tend to believe strongly in Christan basics. I copy his audio feed from the television on tape and when I have need I play the. sometimes over and over again. are you familiar with scotoma's. Understanding scotoma's, identifying and removing negative thoughts, words, TV programs, peers, relatives, pets, foods and living conditions are very important and must be address everyday so that as we journey our direction isn't hampered with self imposed obstacles. Oh well --- Yes, it was hard but now I can spell. Guest guest
Hi Duke,Thank you for telling your story. This is not the first time I've heard of abandonment of people who become ill. I can't imagine how hard it is. We are just now going through that but we are not ill - not physically anyway. It was (is) the most difficult thing we've ever gone through. But to be ill...I can't imagine it. I have a strong network of spiritually sound friends who are coming through for us, so I can't say we have been totally abandoned. In other words, I understand the need to rely on spiritual avenues to get through. I'm having difficulty finding anything about scotoma's - other than it is an eye disease. Can you provide a link?Warm regards,Janet
Guest guest
Bless your heart Janet. This is one of the most stressful situations in life. Been there done that. And it is not in the least easy. Please know that I am here for you and, of course, my thoughts and prayers are with you. Hugs, oleander soup , lostrin <lostrin wrote:>> Hi Duke,> > Thank you for telling your story. Guest guest
Janet: Ah yes. English is not the only language. Thank God! It is from the Greek's The term scotoma was used in psychology to refer to an individuals inability to perceive personality traits in themselves that are obvious to others.Jim Rohn uses it to explain how people read but don't grasp look but don't see as in pictures with duel images. That's why we ask some people "weren't you there --- It happened right in front of you" or the teach asking "are you sure you read the assignment". I could go on but I wont.
