Guest guest
Has anyone heard about a study of advanced cancer patients that was done at the University of Michigan in 2000 that induced copper deficiency that put many into remission? It was tested based on information that cancer can't survive without copper. They used a chemical that is no longer available to the public, however, I have read that excessive zinc intake will induce copper deficiency. My husband has pancreatic cancer and is taking OPC and there has little change in his tumor since diagnosis in November. I was wondering if there would be an interaction with OPC and taking excess zinc or the drug cuprimine that is used to treat excess copper. The University applied for a patent in 2000 but yet, it does not appear to have been forthcoming. My husband does not want to do anything dangerous and yet, having a copper defiency would appear to be much better than advanced cancer. Any thoughts?
