The patented medicine Anvirzel, which "oleander soup" is based on, is available from Honduras.

http://www.saludintegral.hn

And there are two different products that include oleander extract available from Alpha Omega Labs in Ecuador. One costs $59.95 plus shipping and the other is a mere $9.95 plus shipping. However, the products are too new to have the proven track record of the others and I have some serious reservations at this point about the inclusion of Graviola, which has been linked to Parkinson's like conditions in two studies.

Is there any particular reason you may not wish to make your own or else purchase the recommended Sutherlandia OPC? Both of those are tried and true.

Thanks for the reply, Tony. I did order from Sutherlandia OPC and was satisfied with the product but need to re-order and the delay due to the overseas connection was about 2-3 weeks. I have gone through it sooner than expected bec. I have also been using it on some of the "pre-cancerous" lesions on my face and hands (and it seems to be working!). But why doesn't someone here (in this country) make this? Gosh, what a great cottage industry for someone in the sunbelt where Oleander grows so willingly (not where I live).

Because the powers that be would not look kindly on such an endeavor.

If it were possible, I would have been there years ago. As it is, we

are fortunate that we are able to get it shipped in more or less under

the radar.

The real reason is that anything that is a threat to the billions in

profits from Big Pharma is likely to be suppressed and even harassed by

the lapdog alphabet agencies - as was the case with simple Washington

cherries and bitter melon tea.

A technical reason which could be used as an excuse when it comes to

oleander is the fact that there are currently two medications based on

oleander extract in FD A trials as investigational new drugs (INDs) and

when such is the case any product which contains some of the same

ingredients could be labeled an unapproved drug.

Personally, I do not think they have a constitutional leg to stand on

when it comes to regulating an herbal supplement based on an ages old

remedy (or regulating anything we wish to use to address our private

health issues), but do any of us want to take on the burden of fighting

such a battle?

Best to just make our soup and order our supplements (or medicine in the

case of Anvirzel from Honduras) and keep a fairly low profile. So far

there have been no problems and I would like to keep it that way.
