First of all, the idea of treating rheumatic arthritis by suppressing the immune system (or just about any other condition) is typical mainstream insanity in my opinion. What, treat symptoms of one condition by making the body susceptible to all kinds of other illness due to a weak immune system???? Here is Marc's reply: I somehow missed the query on Rheumatoid Arthritis. The S/OPC will help for that and the suggested dosage is 4 capsules of S/OPC plus 4 capsules of NAC per day. I agree with your assessment that suppressing the immune system is mainstream insanity. It just doesn't make sense - on any level!Thank-you also for the proteolytic enzyme advice. I have finally found 2 possible sources of enzymes that have chymotrysin in them here in Australia. One of them is Wobenzym (overpriced to be sure, but oh well) as well as an enzyme from Metagenics. I will need to check the latter out in comparison. I think I will also contact the people who sell Univase to see if I can import to Australia.
