Hi Everyone,I was wondering if anyone has had any experience with metabolic typing. I recently travelled interstate to the only US and UK trained metabolic typist here in Australia. I had to fill out a test that was evaluated in the US and in addition to that blood, urine and saliva samples were obtained. Everything came back to indicate that I am a fast Oxidizer (something I already suspected) but I wasn't prepared to find out that my sub-type is Parasympathetic dominant. To make a long story short, I apparently do better on a diet that has red meat for every meal (pack of cards size, not a large steak) as well as plenty of good fats and cheese (have only added goats and sheep feta).Like many people who have/had cancer, I read the China Study by T.Colin

Campbell and was convinced I needed to be a

Vegetarian. However, I know I don't do well on that, as I

literally go from one hypoglycemic episode to the next, am starving all the

time and feel like I cannot get enough to eat. I tried very hard to be a good little vegetarian in my mid 20's and felt awful then, too.I became intrigued when I read that Tony endorses small amounts of grass-fed meat in his protocol. Despite doing everything I could i.e. green veges, green drinks, highly alkaline foods, I couldn't get my saliva ph up above 6.25. However, whenever I ate meat, fish, eggs in addition to my raw salad and steamed veges, my pH bounced up between 7-8. Initially very confusing and worrisome. Then I started reading about Dr Kelley and Dr Kristal, who both used Metabolic Typing to cure cancer. I also read on distancehealer.com that “Soft†tumors, like lymphomas, leukemia, myeloma, and cancers such as sarcoma and melanoma

arise in more alkaline systems, or parasympathetic dominants. And Dr

Kelley himself recommended for the soft tumor parasympathetic types, a

protein and fat-rich diet to acidify the body. Also, I am genetically

100% German, and we tend to be more comfortable with a diet high in fat

and meat. Fortunately here in Australia our meat is grass fed, as it is the cheapest way. During the couple of winter months when the animals are grain fed, I suppose I can eat fish and chicken.Interestingly enough, I started detoxing so rapidly last week, that we had to pull back a little on the program. My blood tests showed that I have mild, transient renal impairment amongst other things from the ferocity of the detoxing. Although I have been detoxing significantly over the last 8 months, I apparently have a way to go. I would be interested to hear any other experiences re Metabolic typing. I suppose, when I consider that I have a rare cancer like a Sarcoma, it isn't surprising that I also have a slightly against the grain way of curing my cancer and making sure it doesn't come back.Anyway, I am off to Melbourne tomorrow with my husband to get my 6-month CT scan and then on Friday I

get the verdict from the Prof. Sorry this is such a long email, however I am realizing that this is a very interesting journey.Blessings, Eva.
