A better option than Lugols or Iodoral

My recommendation is to take mostly potassium iodine, such as my favorite SSKI which I take a dropperful of daily, with a few drops of elemental iodine. You can take up to 100 mg or more of potassium iodine (perhaps starting around 50 mg and working your way up) and add a few drops of Magnascent to get your elemental iodine (you need both, but not as much elemental iodine).

As an alternative, you can also add a few drops of Lugols, which contains both elemental iodine and potassium iodine, but I think that Lugols and Iodoral are a bit strong to be taking in larger quantities, and what I have read indicates that the SSKI/Magnascent combo works better.

Tony, for those of us who can't take advantage of the SSKI you recommend because we live overseas, how much Lugols do you recommend? Do I remember correctly that 150mg is OK? I am only using 50mg transdermally so far and am thinking of upping my dose slowly.I know you answered this question for another person a couple of months ago, but for the life of me, I can't find the email anymore. Thanks, Eva.--- On Tue, 3/10/09, Tony wrote:Tony A better option than Lugols or Iodoraloleander soup Date: Tuesday, March 10, 2009, 11:19 PM
