Dear Shara,   How did you treat osteomyelitis of your jaw?   I have jawbone necrosis, diagnosed this week only from a panoramic exray/ I'm not thrilled about surgery. Any other options? I am starting microelectricity, but there isn't a huge amount of data on it. Rhoda

Rhoda,

I wish I could tell you that I took wonderful herbs and stuff to treat the osteomyelitis, but at the time (1992) I didn't even have a computer and had NO knowledge of herbs and natural medicine. I had a biopsy done to prove the osteomyelitis (instead of cancer), and took 1 round of antibiotics. Now, I would suggest eating a LOT of garlic (that has worked for my husband! He had a horrible abscess in his jaw...he weighs about 130 pounds, but looked like he weighed 350, lol) and he ate 5-7 garlic cloves per day, plus kept garlic around the affected area in his mouth. It did burn the gum a bit, but it got into the area and killed the infection within 2 days. He also did oil pulling daily during this time, as well as eating raw honey by the spoonfuls...what a sacrifice, lol.

This is all I can tell you. I'm sorry :~(
