Guest guest
Hi Dale, Taken from the instructions on how to make Oleandersoup: To preserve the product, you can mix the remaining with 80 proof vodka, or apple cider vinegar (organic non-distilled is by far the best), 50/50 as a preservative, extending shelf life by at least 6 months. For flavor, you may choose to add some of your favorite pancake syrup, such as boysenberry, for flavoring, in moderation. /oleander soup.htm oleander soup , "Dale Kepes" <peacefuldale wrote:>> Hello,> I'm wondering what amount (or ratio) of vodka to use to preserve the oleander soup? ....Dale>
Guest guest
50 - 50 Dale. If you have 20 oz oleander you use 20 oz vodka. Question though ? why use vodka and have to deal with alcohol, when you can use pure Apple Cider Vinegar, easy on the stomach and liver. Good luck Mary - Dale Kepes oleander soup Saturday, February 28, 2009 9:01 AM to preserve soup Hello, I'm wondering what amount (or ratio) of vodka to use to preserve the oleander soup? ....Dale
