I'm going to start using a lot of these ideas on my cat Grimmy as soon as I get home from Mexico next week. I've been using a standard oleander-mixed-with-OTC-skin-lotion pomade to treat what I'm almost certain is a melanoma that's been spreading across Grimmy's shoulder, plus as much oral oleander soup as she will allow (which is unfortunately not much). My daughter has been administering this and Grimmy's other meds while I've been in Mexico these past 3 weeks, so I don't really know how it's going. But I'll see her when I get home and plan to add many of the suggestions on the skin cancer web site to her protocol. Thanks again! Unknown to most of our group, you go wayyyyy back to the early days before oleander soup was invented and only the patented medicine Anvirzel was being used - back prior to even the early days of my own investigation into oleander. Folks here are always asking for testimonials and proof oleander works - you and I know of many, many instances, don't we? Did you know we have an oleander soup_for_pets forum due to so many folks coming here for help with their pets? Good luck with your own pet. I recommend combining oleander syrup with DMSO, iodine and colloidal silver for maximum effectiveness as a topical solution, and Marc agrees that it should be a very good combo. Probably a good idea to use a thick aloe and/or vitamin E skin cream too to keep it from being too thin and runny - or perhaps some of the suggestions on the website, which I have yet to have time to thoroughly investigate (they have a LOT of information). Guest guest Posted February 10, 2009 Report Share Posted February 10, 2009 Personally, I believe that it does matter. Liquids, in my opinion, should be packaged in glass. I don’t care what the plastic companies say about their plastic bottles that supposedly do not leach. They do not have a good track record for telling the truth, that is, until they get caught lying. I think we are suffering from a lot of health concerns because of the chemicals in plastics and the fact that most pre-packaged foods are in some type of plastic container or bag. Manufacturers like plastic because breakage is almost non-existent. However, if they train their shipping employees correctly glass can be shipped as safely as plastic. I think it is worth it for our health and well-being to continually ask for glass containers. Companies will not change unless they think they are losing sales. There is one manufacturer that I do business with because their product is un-matched. I have done everything but stand on my head to get them to package in glass. They used to use glass bottles several years ago, but again supposedly it was a shipping concern. Guest guest Posted February 10, 2009 Report Share Posted February 10, 2009 If it were me I think I would change out at least the DMSO to a glass container. On the other hand, my 5 gallon colloidal silver container is plastic, but there is quite the difference between DMSO and colloidal silver. Getting a product delivered to you in a glass bottle is best, but even then I suspect a great many things are produced and stored in large plastic vats and then later transferred to glass bottles for shipment to customers. I tend to think like Dr. Lanphier - just because industry tells me something is safe does not make me believe it. A gallon of DMSO? Isn't that about a lifetime supply?
