Guest guest
Hi, I'm still trying to resolve a question re the mix of iodine I've been able to source locally. The mixture contains the following - 12.5 gram per litre of Iodine and 16.6 grams per litre of Potassium Iodide. Label also states the strength of mixture as being 2.5%. Lugol's seems to have 1 part iodine to 2 parts iodide so this mixture is a little light on iodide but I'm hoping it's better than nothing. Would any of our iodine experts care to comment on the suitability of this mixture? Many thanks, Roger NZ
Guest guest
Hi Roger,I posted your question in the iodine forum at Curezone. This is the first reply I received. As they come in I will post them. I am sure more detailed answers will be coming in.I think it's fine. Anything is better than nothing, especially if that's all that is available. Just make sure it's USP grade or better. Anything under that is not fit for human consumption. oleander soup , Roger Barker <rbarker wrote:>> Hi, I'm still trying to resolve a question re the mix of iodine I've > been able to source locally. Guest guest
Roger,This reply is from Trapper:that would be fine, much better than a kelp supplement. if higher doses are in order, they can be tolerated better by putting the Iodine on orange juice. the vit C in there reduces the iodine to a salt and the color of the iodine goes away. from what i can tell in this game, she is lucky to have that available.oleander soup , Roger Barker <rbarker wrote:>> Hi, I'm still trying to resolve a question re the mix of iodine I've > been able to source locally.
