Jitters, insomnia.I dropped back to 50 mg, and am back to feeling 'normal' energy. I've been complaining for three months of rapidly increasing brain fog. Somewhere in the past couple of weeks, confusion has noticeably decreased. (or I've become accustomed to it?). Is this connected to Iodoral, or to an end of months of IBS (irritable bowel syndrome). No way to know. Rhoda
Guest guest
HI Rhoda Someone else who has been taking a high amount of iodine was experiencing gut problems. It was pointed out to them that iodine is a VERY good anti-microbial thus it may be killing all of your beneficial bacteria in your intestines. Hopefully you are taking a good spore-bearing probiotic many hours after or before the Iodoral. Guest guest
Be sure to have the Hashimoto's antigen presence tested by a blood test. If you have Hashimoto's, you should first put it into remission before using iodine at these levels. I have had it, am now in remission, and have used 14 to 80 mg of Iodine per day for several months. I am now doing fine.Michael L. Guest guest
Hi Rhoda,I am so happy to hear that your brain fog has diminished. When your body gets the necessary iodine it needs, there is a decrease in brain fog. Guest guest
Hi Rhoda, I just joined this forum and hadn't heard from you for a while. Did I understand that you ended your IBS? I have had problems with my gut for many years and had identified enough triggers that things were improving, but since being on a modified Budwig diet, leaving out the Flaxseeds because of allergy and stomach aches, I was doing OK until after a year on Budwig's I was visiting relatives at TG without eating my Flaxseed oil and when I started eating it again I started a whole new level of extreme gut problems still continuing. I stopped eating Flaxseed oil. I seem to have a lot more triggers now that I haven't figured all out yet. What ended your IBS? I looked at our kelp with Iodine supplement and it only has 225 mcg Iodine, so I guess I should look for a new source. What do most people take, Lugol's? What about eating kelp as a source, how much would you have to eat and is it in a good form? My husband has been fighting mets from 3 sarcoma surgeries 20 years ago, one is on his brain. He has been very stable on the Budwig diet and LDN for a year but I don't see progress in ending or decreasing his problems. I'm hoping Oleander in the form of Sutherlandia OPC would help that happen? I'm trying to get a handle on what other supportive supplement changes I should do, from reading Tony's website. Does the Oleander have any effect on IBS? Blessings, Nancy oleander soup , " May " <luellamay129 wrote: > > Hi Rhoda, > > I am so happy to hear that your brain fog has diminished.
