Guest guest
I have been over on the Budwig forum, FlaxseedOil2. They strongly recommend *against* taking any supplements to fight cancer, including OPC, and selenium and other substances which I have always thought were cancer fighters. How would they work *against* the flax oil and cottage cheese? This makes no sense to my simple little brain. Jill~
Guest guest
Interesting you should bring this up, because I was just perusing posts in this forum on this exact subject. For a whole lot of information on the topic, do a search on Budwig and Antioxidants. I had just raised a question about a specific antioxidant -- alpha lipoic acid. Actually Mike Golden pretty much answered your question earlier today. Philosophically, the Bugwig people think that natural substances have all the vitamins, minerals, and other goodies mixed together in the right proportions, and therefore it is always best to get your vitamins and minerals naturally. It is also claimed that they are far more readily assimilated in their natural forms versus synthetic pills. Scientifically, they claim that antioxidants interfere with the pro- oxidant properties of the flaxseed oil. Do the search as I suggested and learn more! oleander soup , " lillisilly " <evangelnet wrote: > > I have been over on the Budwig forum, FlaxseedOil2. > > They strongly recommend *against* taking any supplements to fight > cancer, including OPC, and selenium and other substances which I have > always thought were cancer fighters. Guest guest
I don't know the answer to that Jill, however Webster Kerr from CancerTutor emailed me saying that Cottage Cheese/Flaxseed oil and OPC are a really good combination. Hence the reason I started them both. And then I saw it further reinforced by Tony in his protocol. Yes, I am a little confused, too. I may have to go check out the CC?FO forum myself. Perhaps Tony has some answers to this?Blessings, Eva.--- On Wed, 1/28/09, lillisilly <evangelnet wrote:lillisilly <evangelnet Question about antioxidants and BPoleander soup Date: Wednesday, January 28, 2009, 6:32 AM I have been over on the Budwig forum, FlaxseedOil2. Guest guest
Eva Webster Kerr gave me the same advice which I also am following, but please note that the Sutherlandia OPC and Avirsel are not the same as the European OPC which is an antioxidant. I use the former from South Africa. Guest guest
What is so refreshing about this forum is that we can actually discuss, debate, perhaps even argue a bit (in a civil manner) about this issue without censorship. oleander soup , Rupert Jameson <rupert.jameson wrote: > > Eva > > Webster Kerr gave me the same advice which I also am following, but please note that the Sutherlandia OPC and Avirsel are not the same as the European OPC which is an antioxidant.
