PSA monitoring

Last year I was diagnosed with prostate cancer and started the Budwig

protocol. The PSA dropped nealy 20% in a month, but after that I added

Sutherlandia OPC and now my PSA value has risen again by 20% much to my

surprise. Is the Sutherlandia a strong anti-oxidant? If this is the

case it may be counterproductive to mix it with the Budwig protocol.

Has anyone got advice to give on this issue?

Actually I recommend Budwig along with oleander as part of my suggested anti-cancer protocol, and we have a number of members here who used Budwig and still are, but came here to get better results.

In particular we have one member here (do a search for "Duane") who uses both Budwig and OPC whose PSA has dropped steadily and who has been posting his results.

Oleander's anti-oxidant effect is not at all strong and it is not actually considered an anti-oxidant. In my opinion, some of the Budwig adherrents are far too over-zealous when it comes to anti-oxidants anyway. Evidently their flawed thinking is that anti-oxidants rob the cells of oxygen or somehow interfere with the oxygen giving actions of the Budwig diet. There is, after all, a big difference in oxygen giving and free radical creation from oxidation. Free radical scavaging of anti-oxidants does not necessarily take away oxygen from the cellular level.

One of our members has suggested that the only anti-oxidants that may interfere with Budwig are alpha-lipoic acid and vitamin E. Hopefully he will elaborate a bit on that.

If you want to add more cellular oxygen and get an energy boost too if my own experience is any indicator - take a look at the producy Oxygen. You can use the disount code of LR001 to get 15% off the already low price from our friends at Utopia Silver.

Personally I do not see anything in oleander that should make PSA rise over time, except that there might be temporary increases as the cancer cells are dying off. Or, perhaps in the event that someone was not taking enough OPC.

All the best,
