Hi, groups,

 

Lately I have using Borox two tb.sp. in bottle water spray to wash my hair. It makes my hair soft/shining/smooth that I don't feel like to use my own shompoo anymore. I read somewhere you can even take tiny amount daily with 1 liter water daily to help your bone health. I have been trying to find the causes of my whole body deep sorness bone pain(bone scan has no findings), which I have been suffering for more than 20 years. My question is is it safe to take borox tiny amount daily long term? Helen

Yes, you can take borax internally - 1/8 tsp dissolved in water daily. See:

It discuses a study where borax/boron was taken for roughly 165 days. If you are going to take borax daily for an extended time you must be careful not to take too high a dose. I am not sure what amount of borax that would be.
