Guest guest
Jay, My husband and I just started planting our garden. A little late perhaps, as it is summer here. I am faithful to water them and I will soon be able to harvest. I have pulled out some of our old plants at the side of the house as they cannot feed me. We also purchased some apple crates and good soil and planted veges - this protects them from our dog and the often gale force winds we have here. Organic is ridiculously expensive. And was blowing our budget every week! This finally convinced my husband, too. Like Mary I have been growing herbs for a while, and I am totally impressed with 70 of them! In the winter we plan to have a hothouse as it gets quite cold - Tassie is close to the Antarctic. I lived in Atlanta for 5 years up until last year, so I am still getting aclimated. Blessings, Eva. --- On Tue, 1/13/09, Maria Stathopoulos <mary1kon wrote: Maria Stathopoulos <mary1konRe: member informationoleander soup Date: Tuesday, January 13, 2009, 3:49 AM Hi Jay. I grow my own food and let me tell you it's not ease, at the same time it's a lot of plessure when you pick your food fresh from your garden, knowing they have no poison on it, you can even eat it unwash, i also grow my own herbs so far i have about 70 kinds of them, proud food grower. It would be a good way to really get to know one another. Itdoesn't have to be a lot, just what issues we are dealing with and howwe are addressing those issues. I would like to know what people think.Tony, I know you have an excellent anti-cancer protocol. This is fromDr. Mercola's site and something he said: I often point out just howpowerful and influential the pharmaceutical industry is. The globalmarket for pharmaceuticals was worth more than $693 billion in 2007.But Big Pharma is easily dwarfed by the global chemistry industry, which lives somewhere in the $3 trillion-a-year- neighborhood. Don'tall these chemicals on any cancer treatment? Does anyone here growtheir own food? I could probably grow my own as I live in SouthCarolina and the weather is always good. It doesn't rain enough, though. The big issue I believe is Codex Alimentarius. not sure of spelling.Jay
