Guest guest
Thanks all for the wonderful suggestions about how to get OS down. I'll try them to see what works for me.After I made the initial OS, I took out the leaves and boiled it down further to concentrate it. Doesn't require as many caps that way. I do wonder now, whether it might be easier to handle if I reconstitute it before adding juice, so the flavor isn't quite so strong. I'll try several ideas. It's time for me to make another batch, from leaves I dried and collected a few months ago. I was just looking for a hydrometer, and saw that they are reasonable at my local beer brewing shop. Will a beer hydrometer work? And maybe I'll make some beer too, Organic Beer anyone? Rhoda
Guest guest
That organic beer sounds good. Would you like to gloat? We backpacked through Central America with our kids and happened upon a hostel in Honduras. The American owner brewed his own mango beer. That place still weighs on my mind as I sit here listening to the freezing rain. There's also another tarantula story in that place too.
