In the interest of everyone I'm including this e-mail from Mr. Swanepoel.

I would swear on a stack of bibles that I've been taking the OPC

longer but maybe I'm wrong.

Anyway I feel this is important to pass on:

Dear Carl,

I have been away for a few days and have only read your posts to the

oleander soup discussion group today (see below).

From my records, your first bottle of 60 capsules was only delivered

to you on August 29, so you definitely could not have used 4 caps of

the S/OPC in August as per you e-mail to the group (see the USPS

delivery times below). The 2nd delivery (2 parcels - 120 caps) was

only on Oct 6. So, you did not use any capsules in August and you

could not have used more than an average of 2 caps per month for the

whole of September (especially if you eased into using it). Only from

October 6 when you had received the 60 capsules could you have started

to increase from 2 caps per day to 4 caps per day. I only mention

these figures because the way you put it in you message to the group

was that you had been using 4 caps per day since August 2008 (with a

few weeks gap in-between) with no results. Your statement should have

been that you were using an average of 2 caps per day for September

(or 4 caps for 2 weeks) and only started to increase the dosage after

October 6. However, that is water under the mill and let's see if we

can find what the problem is.

I noticed in one of your e-mail that you had not done any cleanses.

The liver cleanse is quite important and that can be one reason why it

has not had the desired results yet. I have had a few patients with

advanced prostate cancer with PSA in the high hundreds who only

started to show results once they did the liver cleanse. I have

included it for you again.

Many people with advanced cancer has a fungal problem. Dr Simoncini of

Italy deems this so important that he has written a book called

" Cancer is a fungus " . I disagree with him and believe that fungal

problems have a very high correlation with cancer but is NOT the cause

of the cancer. Both the fungus and the cancer have the same underlying

cause. Because the S/OPC is also an anti-fungal, some of the side

effects you may experience could well be from the " die-off " of fungi.

Here is a quote from Doug Kaufman's book " The Fungus Link " describing

the side effects of such a " die-off " :

'..I felt as if I were dying. My hands were shaky, my vision was

blurred, my ears were ringing, I experienced numbness in my hands and

legs, and I was depressed, disoriented and confused. Besides the

extreme fatigue, my headaches persisted, I lost some of my hair, and I

cried almost all of the time. ... My complexion went pasty white, and

the people around me seemed to stare at me as though I were a freak.

Several times, I was told that I should find another doctor or seek

another opinion. Thank God I did not. I stuck it out and now those

problems are behind me " . (Kaufman, Vol1, p94)

Also " ..thirty to forty percent of our clients notice 'die-off'

reactions. ..the skin is the largest organ in your body, so it is not

rare to see outbreaks or worsening of skin rashes as the body begins

to 'clean house'.. " (Kaufman, Vol2, p246)

So, the reason why you cannot work up to the 6 capsules per day (which

may be required to knock out your cancer) could be an underlying

fungal problem.

You also mentioned that you use Lupron. This specific drug is only a

palliative/symptomatic treatment and does not cure anything. It

interferes with the body's hormone production, has many side effects

and has even been linked to spinal cancer. It can cause heart

palpitations and can definitely interfere with the S/OPC. As you may

know, the company making it was charged with paying urologists to

switch their clients from other drugs to Lupron. Dr Mercola says this

about Lupron: " Lupron is a disaster drug that in no way shape or form

treats the cause of the problem " .

Casodex (Bicalutamide), like Lupron, is a testosterone blocker. Like

all hormone blockers, it has long-term side effects and it does not

cure the cancer. It is a bit like taking the temperature gauge out of

a car when it shows a high temperature. One still has not solved the

reason why the car got hot in the first place and disguising the

symptom will not change the damage to the car or prevent it from

popping up somewhere else.

My suggestion is thus that you do a few liver cleanses, take some

anti-fungals and try to increase the S/OPC to 6 caps per day. Also try

to follow the rest of the protocol.

I sincerely hope that you have a prosperous and a healthier 2009.

Regards,

Marc Swanepoel
