Does OPC help to prevent hair loss if a person is also taking chemo?

Thank you,

Hi Ted,First of all, I would like to welcome you to the group. In reply to your questions, although we do not advocate chemo, if that is the chosen method, Sutherlandia OPC will minimize or eliminate the side effects of chemo. However, if the drug Cisplatin is used, it does not prevent hair loss. Again, when chemo is the chosen method used to combat cancer, it seems to work together with the chemo in reducing tumors. For instance, physicians that are open to alternative methods and using Sutherlandia OPC as part of the treatment find that a less amount of chemo is needed.Warm regards, oleander soup , "tedlewis41" <tedlewis41 wrote:>> I was diagnosed with small cell lung cancer on October 3, 2008.
