Ok people.

who knows what is hayflower, and what it looks like? i have a book that says to use hay flowers for arthritis and other ailments, but i dont know what it is, and what it looks like, or is it hay, as hay for the cows, Lol.

Please let me know if any of you know.

Thank you.

Mary, these common names can be very misleading because very different flowers can be called by the same name in different parts of the country. Does the book have the Latin name of the flower? If it has that we can identify it for you.

Hi Mary, in our part of the world they refer to any pollen rich

flower growing in a field of hay as a hay flower. They are reputed to

have certain medicinal purposes. Afraid that's about all I know of

them. Not much help am I :-)

Happy New Year from NZ,
