Cayenne is also said to be good to stop internal bleeding and there are people who follow the Stanley Burroughs Master Cleanse or otherwise known as the Lemon Diet, which was originally formulated as a cure for stomach ulcers. I have done it every year for at least ten days between Thanksgiving and Christmas. The longest I was on it was for 17 days. It was just amazing how much energy I had and how good I felt. You are able to maintain weight and even gain weight on it based on the amount of Maple Syrup you add.

The entire book can be read at:

Renee.

I agree with you cayenne is good to stop external bleeding, i have tried myself many times over, what i read though states that if you take cayenne before a surgery, your blood will be very thin and you will bleed profusely during surgery.

Um, no. Cayenne is great for any blood problem. It makes the blood flow through the veins but will stop any bleeding via a wound. When I sliced my 3 fingers on the table saw, and was spurting blood everywhere, a soak in cayenne tincture immediately stopped the bleeding. Cayenne stops heart attacks and strokes. It's an amazing herb, called an adaptogen, because it will both promote open arteries, yet stop bleeding.

Sunray, i have heard of Acidophilus yes, but also i have heard what not to take, wich is Cayenne peppers as it makes the blood thin and runny.
