Guest guest
Hi Precious Group, I am back with another question. One of my uncles is 80 years old and he is suffering from severe dizziness. My grandmother who lived until 99 suffered from this too, but she took care of it the natural way with something she purchased from Mexico and put behind her ears. We are not sure what it was. Anyway, the doctors have given him Xanax and other hard core drugs and he is worse than ever. It is like he is trapped inside himself. This started about a year ago and up until then he was fine. Does anyone have any suggestions other than the obvious to get off all the meds that might help him with his original problem of dizziness? Thanks, Tracy
Guest guest
There's a condition where the tiny crystals inside the ear get out of the tube they are suppose to be in. This causes constant unbalance. A few turns of the head, a certain way, can put these crystals back into their tube and the dizziness goes immediately away. My 78 year old mother had this. I forget what the problem is called, but there's a special name for this. The directions on how to turn the head are even on line, someone had posted about them being on line in another group. I hope he can find something to help. Samala, Renee ---- I am back with another question. One of my uncles is 80 years old and he is suffering from severe dizziness. Guest guest
The dizziness is caused by dislodged calcium crystals (salt crystals) in the fluid of the inner ear. The calcium crystals move through the fluid of the inner ear during certain head movements of motion or dizziness (vertigo). The following are the most common reasons for dislodgment of calcium crystals in the inner ear http://www.michiganear.com/library/B/bpvfact.html Hugs, Rose www.orangecountypropertyservices.com 714.549-3519 Office/Fax 714.349-1200 Cell Be who you are and say what you feel, because those who mind don't matter and those who matter don't mind. ~Dr. Seuss oleander soup From: gaiacitaDate: Sat, 20 Dec 2008 11:02:02 -0600Re: dizziness/loss of Equilibrium There's a condition where the tiny crystals inside the ear get out of the tube they are suppose to be in. Guest guest
This actually came up on another group lately and it was mentioned that the cause was 'dislodged ear crystals'. Here is more on the subject and some movements to put them back in place: http://www.michiganear.com/library/B/bpvfact.html Hugs, Rose www.orangecountypropertyservices.com 714.549-3519 Office/Fax 714.349-1200 Cell Be who you are and say what you feel, because those who mind don't matter and those who matter don't mind. ~Dr. Seuss oleander soup From: tracyrodDate: Sun, 21 Dec 2008 09:42:20 -0800Re: dizziness/loss of Equilibrium Thanks Mary and all who have replied with suggestions! --- On Sat, 12/20/08, Maria Stathopoulos <mary1kon (AT) optusnet (DOT) com.au> wrote: Maria Stathopoulos <mary1kon (AT) optusnet (DOT) com.au>Re: dizziness/loss of Equilibriumoleander soup Date: Saturday, December 20, 2008, 5:16 PM Hi Tracy. i get bouts of dizziness on and of, they last couple weeks and then every thing it's ok until the next time, my Doctor was giving me some medication but i regected it because i dont believe that was what my body needed, so i started putting a pinch of cayenne pepper or a dropfull of cayenne tincture, in every glass of water i was drinking during the day every day, also i was drinking tea made with ( BRAHMI , GOTU KOLA AND SELF HEAL ) herbs, drinking 3 cups a day every day, plus i apply DMSO on my forehead and behind my ears and it has worked, i'm dizzy free now for 4 days whoopee, now if that was a counsidens i dont know nore will i question what worked. Guest guest
Hi Tracy,Did the doctor pinpoint a source to your uncle's dizziness? An inner ear problem? Sinuses? A neurological condition? Hypoglycemia? Low blood pressure? There could be many causes. If it is inner ear related, put a couple of drops of colloidal silver in his ears. If it is sinus related, spray it in his nose. Also, if it is due to hypyglycemia, put him on a natural diet. Do away, first of all, with sugar, processed foods, sweeteners, junk foods, fast foods, sodas. Put him on a mostly raw diet, 80% raw, 20% cooked, consisting of chicken and fresh water fish. If he is having blood pressure issues, put one teaspoon of cayenne pepper in a "gulp" of water or juice daily. If you are interested, I know a herbalist that makes a cayenne tincture and I will be glad to forward you her email address.Obviously, Xanax is not the answer. At this point, he may have to wean off that medication and I would only do that under the supervision of a medical practitioner. By the way, dizziness is one of the side effects of Xanax. What other hard core drugs was he prescribed? At this point, his condition could be due to the side effects.I might seek the services of a naturopath who would be able to get to the core of your uncle's dizziness and treat him naturally. They would also be instrumental in safely weaning him off any unnecessary drugs. I hope I have helped and answered at least some of your questions.Hugs, oleander soup , "Tracy" <tracyrod wrote:>> Hi Precious Group,> > I am back with another question. Guest guest
Tracy, look up Dr. John Abdo and talk with him. I've heard wonderful things about him. He used to own the health food store behind San Antonio College years ago, and has continued on with extensive training in naturopathy and medicine. I'm from San Antonio, and I'm thinking about taking my daughter to him in the future. She has neuroborreliosis -- neuro Lyme disease -- and I'm just starting treatment with an online homeopath and naturopath. If she fails to improve substantially, I'm going to head for Dr. Abdo and stay with my sister during treatments. I hope he will be able to help your uncle. I'm pretty sure he will!
