Guest guest
Has anyone heard of this guy? Is he just another scam trying to sell books and wares? I read his website and he seems to be a popular " integrative " practitioner; it all sounds good but I've been there done that and been disappointed. Any thought's from the group? Thanks and Happy Thanksgiving Leonard

Guest guest
Andreas Moritz is a very highly regarded figure in integrative medicine. I do not agree with th premise of his recent book "Cancer is Not a Disease" which hypothesizes that cancer is actually a defense mechanism that is trying to keep the body alive and that all you have to do is get the body back in balance. If it is a defense mechanism for the whole body, it surely does fail miserably.I think rather that cancer is a defense mechanism at the site of the cancer in response to an irritant/inflammation from one or more of many possible causes. And, while I agree wholehearted that it is vital to rebalance the body with proper nutrition, lifestyle, management of stress and emotions, etc., once a cancer mass has become established you also have to aggressively attack the cancer itself at the same time you address the causes. In my very strong opinion, you simply cannot sit back and try to adjust diet and lifestyle and so forth while the cancer continues to grow. What happens if you try that for a couple or three months and the cancer fails to respond? Not a chance I am willing to take or recommend. Moritz's liver and gallbladder flush book is a very good one oleander soup , "leonardbedoian" <leonardbedoian wrote:>> Has anyone heard of this guy? If the liver isn't working right, optimal health is impossible - and the worse the condition of the liver, the less chance you have of recovering. Focus on cleansing the liver *and* the digestive system, supplement with high quality superfoods, maybe add some targeted herbal remedies, and you should be able to beat just about anything. Of course, cleansing these systems without ceasing the intake of the toxic substances (whether food or thoughts) that damaged them in the first place - meaning, major lifestyle changes - is mostly useless...
