Guest guest
Marva, I’ve used Mucos Pharma Wobenzym N twice now. Once for 9 months running at a pretty high daily dose and recently for the last 4 months at the recommended dose. With the caveat that I have some pretty specific problems, it seems to have a noticeable effect in supporting immune & lymph node function. I have a thyroid problem in converting T4 to T3 and did have a retard for a doctor who would NOT consider prescribing both so I could get the mix right and function above the capacity of the living dead. My hair naturally resembles hay most of the time and would not grow past my shoulders most of my life. My nails usually are more paper-thin and more fragile than a baby’s. Skin on hands, elbows, feet like an alligator, etc. The usual thyroid stuff. Also, I have been told that I have diverticulitus (sp?) and it’s the source of repeated infections that I end up fighting off. I got concerned about having to repeatedly resort to industrial quantities of echinachea and goldenseal (since our doctor through Blue Shield’s HMO would just stand silently with that glazed-eye deer-in-the-headlights look) whenever I would go in with lymph nodes that resembled ½ a golf ball on either side of my neck. He would NEVER prescribe antibiotics or look for cause of my complaints. I had to gather that it was not allowed to diagnose anything for fear of having to provide any real care short of end-of-life where there is no pretense of surprise and credible deniability available. I got most concerned about dropping dead from infection and lack of care. I built up to taking 10 tablets morning, noon and night. It worked. The infections stopped. My neck wasn’t swollen past endurance any longer. Hair grew down to my waist – nice and thick, original color (no traitorous glow-in-the-dark fluorescent white stuff). I had more energy, not like I was fully functional, but much more energy. Nails on both hands and feet actually grew past my fingertips without peeling or ripping right through like usual. Oh yes and my skin cleared up too. It wasn’t a cure, but it sure made a difference. The cost became prohibitive and I seemed so much better that I stopped. The effect lasted for about a year. Then my mom had a partial mastectomy and suffered with cancer elsewhere throughout her body that her HMO didn’t seem inclined to address for the last 3 years. Since she died a few months ago and my brother and I are finally getting her estate settled, I have some time to try taking care of myself again. Stress can do lots of nasty things. Almost ½ my hair fell out right after mom died. I also started back up with lots of infections again. OK, so I have issues or a truly distressed diet, take your pick. Honestly, I do TRY. I ordered Sutherlandia OPC from Marc and took it for a month. I felt much better. Next is to try and do my own. I have watched the posts here for months and am convinced that long-term oleander soup is something I probably should try on for size since breast cancer runs in the ladies of my mom’s family. I am also very interested in supplementing with iodine and some of the other supports like IP6 and inositol, etc. I am asking for advice, , Tony. When I took only T3 for 19 years gradually I came to the conclusion that there were very debilitating side-effects of being “unbalanced”. When last year, for financial reasons (I ended up not being to afford health insurance any longer – turned 55 and Blue Shield wanted $1250/mo in premiums for essentially NO real care for hubby and self) I ended up switching to T4 only and discovered that the failings of each (T4 vs. T3) of these taken singularly were distinct and separate. In the past, I bullied one doctor into having my thyroid scanned and know that ½ of it is miniature and covered with one big tumor, but it does work (sometimes). The other ½ is apparently crispy critters. I keep reading about alternate supplements. At this point, I’m game. Probably screwed, but game. The diagnose yourself (and pray that you’re not an idiot after all) move was to start taking Wobenzym again at recommended dose (3 in am, 3 in pm). It’s helping, but after the last 4 months, I think I need to up the amount some. I stopped trying to go bald and turning white in real time as I watched. Hair started coming in thick again with color (not white). My nails are still sorry, but better than they were. My skin is still like an alligator in places. End of “War and Peace” = it seems to cover boosting immune system and help my lymph nodes not swell up and practically fall off my neck and elsewhere. If that’s what you’re after, it seemed to work well that way for me. I just had to take a significant LOT of it and it got pretty costly and just like anything you are never really sure if you should take it forever or just as a crutch for a specific amount of time and/or per situation. Guest guest
Hi Leslie,I have never found a doctor that prescribes for both T3 and T4, leaving the patient in the dark and operating as you said, just above death. What corrected my thyroid was iodine supplementation. I took Iodoral, and still do, and two tablets a day corrected my problem. The dosage is one to five, depending on the person. What concerns me is your description of your infected lymph nodes looking like golf balls. Are you sure there isn't anything more serious going on? I am glad you are taking Sutherlandia OPC. I would definitely suggest that you continue or make Oleander Soup. This will also help with the tumor on your thyroid. No, you are not screwed, there is a definite road to healing. Are your lymph nodes still swollen? I would go get a second opinion, although I would not recommend a biopsy. A biopsy tends to spread cancer, if it should be present.I would also recommend taking Inositol/IP6 and colloidal silver. Colloidal silver is excellent in strengthening the immune system and both colloidal silver and Inositol/IP6 have been known to "melt" tumors. Oleander is very effective against the irregular cells which form tumors, so you are doing all the right things.Let me know of your progress. It will get better.Hugs, interesting. It's what helps keeps us and our forums going! For more info see --- In oleander soup , "Leslie Moberly" <leslie007 wrote:>> Marva,> > > > I've used Mucos Pharma Wobenzym N twice now. Guest guest
Echinacea is effective against cancer when used in conjunction with other methods. I would not solely rely on it. As for Wobenzym N, I have done some reading on it and it is an immune booster, so I am going to say yes, it will help. However, I would stick with colloidal silver. By my own experience, it is the best immune booster I can think of, and as I am sitting here in the Utopia Silver offices I get overhear conversations with customers. They are wonderful testimonials as to the healing properties of colloidal silver. Apparently, colloidal silver not only "melts" tumors in our pets but it is very effective against tumors in "humans" also, among its other numerous benefits. Hands down, I would choose colloidal silver to build my immune system. Guest guest
A product that is 20% better than Wobenzym N is Univase Forte. I used Univase Forte when I was healing from cancer and still use it to this day. If you are wanting a pancreatic enzyme this is top-of-the-line then Univase Forte is the best choice. Echinacea Root would not be something that I would choose for a good cancer protocol. However it is a good immune stimulator when fighting colds, flu, etc. You might want to look at a good Wild Mediterranean Oregano Oil with at least at least 80% Carvacrol such as Oregasil. It is also great to have around for the cold and flu season. Below is a blurb about oregano oil: Washington, D.C. — Oil from the common herb oregano may possibly be an effective treatment against dangerous, and sometimes drug-resistant bacteria, a researcher from Georgetown has discovered. At least two studies have indicated that oregano oil—in particular, carvacrol, one of oregano's chemical components—seem to reduce infection in the same manner as traditional antibiotics. Harry G. Preuss, MD, MACN, CNS, professor of physiology and biophysics, along with his research team, tested oregano oil on staphylococcus bacteria—which is responsible for an assortment of severe infections and is steadily becoming resistant to many antibiotics. Oregano oil was combined with the bacteria in a test tube, and compared oregano oil's effects to those of the standard antibiotics streptomycin, penicillin and vacnomycin. Oregano oil at relatively small doses was found to curb the growth of the staphylococcus bacteria in the test tubes as adequately as the basic antibiotics did. The links above are to the OAW site; however if you decide to order either of these please do go to Tony’s site () and clinic on his OAW affiliate banner (close to the bottom of the page, in the middle) so that he and will get credit.
