Liver is one of the powerhouse foods, as long as it isn't adulterated (full of drugs/antibiotics/hormones)... and raw butter is awesome. Milk, too, as long as it is raw/organic, is fine in moderation. And lets not forget fresh/free-range eggs from healthy chickens...

Well I guess its a good thing your agreement is not required. Some people (some would say *many* people) simply cannot maintain good health without raw/natural animal products. This is a known and proven fact. If anyone here is still having health problems after many years of trying to improve their health with one form of 'vegetarian' diet or another, I urge you to go here and do some reading (with an open mind): http://www.rawpaleodiet.com/ People are historically (we're talking millions of years, not the paltry few thousand of recent history) hunter/gatherer, not 'farmers'. Grains are not and never were intended as primary food for human consumption. Proof? Look around you. America is the largest consumer of grain products, and they are the fattest. What are cattle fed to fatten them up? Grains. Now, *sprouted* grains, in moderation, are very healthful... and fresh juice from some of the cereal grasses (ie wheat/kamut/barley) is one of the most powerful healing foods you can consume, as are many other sprouted seeds
Guest guest
Everyone seems to be missing the point. The problem is the micotoxins in the food chain. These come largely by poor handling somewhere in the food chain. All the foods listed are fine as long as they are not loaded with micotoxins. Certain foods are more prone to the micotoxins than others in our food chain. Micotoxins can be introduced anywhere in the food chain and unfortunately this is hidden from the final consumer. Actually grains can be a very good food as long as they are grown and processed correctly. This applies to meats also. However it's thought that fresh vegetables are going to generally be the most free from the micotoxin problem. However, as we know vegetables can be GMO'd and loaded with fluorine and mercury and other industrial waste products and also MSG and carregeanan, etc. Personally, I like the idea of your own greenhouse where you grow your own food 12 months of the year. If it's a lean-to greenhouse attached to your house you may even be able to bleed off a little heat into your house during the day. Of course locating a hundred miles or so from a nuclear power plant is a good idea also, preferably not down wind and staying away from DU is a good idea also although it's true that some success has been had with spirulina, chlorella, brown seaweeds and ALA, Aloe vera, miso soup, brassica veggies and high beta carotene veggies, also beans and lentils and high nucleotide content foods to assist in cellular repair including Siberian ginseng and panax ginseng. There are others like MSM, iodine, zinc, iron and B12. oleander soup , Simon <tanstaafl wrote: > > On 11/21/2008 12:44 AM, Tammatha wrote: > >>> liver, milk, butter, ... all cause Prostate cancer. Guest guest
By the way, my e-mail is listed incorrectly by the system. I can't even get e-mailed postings anymore. I've tried to get it changed by to the correct e-mail address but no go. Anyway, the correct address is olde_silas.
