Clay and weight loss

I started to use clay to stop chronic diarrhea a couple of weeks ago. It's working, but it means taking it daily, roughly 4 tbs a day. I haven't joined a clay list, because I feel overwhelmed with 'Lists " and computer time. Does anyone know whether daily clay intake will be harmful? I do have an appointment with a doctor to diagnose what's causing the diarrhea, but it will take a while.

I'm losing weight because of decreased appetite. I've been doing this slowly for several months because I have large tumors in my abdomen, and not minding at all. Perhaps I'd better check more often, see if I'm losing weight too quickly.

I have bentonite from MountainRoseHerbs, as well as a much more expensive source. They both seem to have the same efficiency, but MtnRose tastes better and is less than 1/3 the cost. Rhoda

Not harmful at all, Rhoda! I use it almost every day, but, have not lost any weight!! It is a good thing to take daily as it helps to remove the toxins that we encounter on a daily basis.

Clay baths are also good for detoxing.

You might want to look into LDN, as it is helping people to stop the progression of cancer and other autoimmune diseases. Very few side effects that don't last and very inexpensive.

Hi Rhoda. Sorry I haven't been on line. My Dad passed away. Yes, it is safe to take clay daily for long periods of time. Some people have taken it every day for years. Just make sure that you drink plenty of water to keep from getting constipated.

You may have been loosing weight before the clay, but clay will also help loose weight--at least it does for many people who are overweight. I know that is not your problem, but perhaps some of the recent weight loss may be due to the clay as it removes toxins from the body.
