My Introduction Hello and again thanks for the tips and suggestions. I looked at the links and don't like what I see about chemo at all. I am reading all that I can so that I can help my dad make a decision about it. The decision is not mine to make, but I know that my opinion carries weight with my Dad. The pain patch and anti nausea medicine seem to be helping quite a bit. He ate a bowl of cream of wheat for breakfast, two cups of chicken broth during the day (salt is supposed to help his body flush extra calcium from his blood), and a few bites of mashed potatos for dinner. He kept it all down! This excited my sister and I as that is more than he has eaten in a week or two. He is still drinking lots of water. He is still very weak. He has lost almost 60 pounds in about 6 weeks. He is also miserable because the pain meds have constipated him and he has had hemorroids for years. He cannot really sit up due to the hemorroids pain, but hopefully this will lessen after he has a bowl movement. Hopefully he will feel better tomorrow and we can discuss what he wants to do. I don't really think he has givin it much thought so far. We definately need to restart the OS and the rest of the protocol! Thanks again and please keep the good stuff comin!CeliaP.S. Does anyone know about this calcium in the blood situation? Anything else we can do about it? Color coding for safety: Windows Live Hotmail alerts you to suspicious email. Sign up today.
