This is the preservative in the Hep B immunisation I was forced to have in 1996 as a healthcare worker. I developed a severe immune system reaction to it, I could not get out of bed at first, my speech, language and memory were affected, my temperature control went haywire - my feet went blue and numb from cold in the middle of a hot summer, I could not recognise the value of coins (recognise the numbers) or understand language. A year later, most days, I couldn't walk to the door. My boss, who was immunised a couple of days later, developed reactive arthritis and could not walk for 6 months. I was off work for 2 years. Thiomersal was already implicated in a number of auto-immune system reactions in 'The Lancet' at that time. Please, please, do not let your children have it. I took my employer to the Union, I was found 15% disabled and the cause of that was found to be the immunisation, but I did not receive any compensation. What have you done to help yourself? I can still recognize coins but I am not far from there. Bad shape. This is the preservative in the Hep B immunisation I was forced to have in 1996 as a healthcare worker. I developed a severe immune system reaction to it, I could not get out of bed at first, my speech, language and memory were affected, my temperature control went haywire - my feet went blue and numb from cold in the middle of a hot summer, I could not recognise the value of coins (recognise the numbers) or understand language. A year later, most days, I couldn't walk to the door. My boss, who was immunised a couple of days later, developed reactive arthritis and could not walk for 6 months. I was off work for 2 years. Thiomersal was already implicated in a number of auto-immune system reactions in 'The Lancet' at that time. Please, please, do not let your children have it. I took my employer to the Union, I was found 15% disabled and the cause of that was found to be the immunisation, but I did not receive any compensation. Guest guest Posted November 15, 2007 Report Share Posted November 15, 2007 I'm pretty much recovered, although I've got to watch allergic reactions - went into A & E (accident and emergency) at the local hospital last year from a reaction to avocado, would you believe.. I took a lot of garlic, onion, codliver oil with orange and echinacea. Tried to eat lots of soups made from local nettles! Lots of spinach and lamb. Plus listened to some relaxation tapes. Didn't overdo things, made a diary of how I felt each day. I don't believe that rubbish about graded exercise, I knew how I felt. You will get better, Kathy. Get rid of stress. Do what you love - I actually found poetry helped. You will get better, love. I took a lot of garlic, onion, codliver oil with orange and echinacea. Tried to eat lots of soups made from local nettles! Lots of spinach and lamb. Plus listened to some relaxation tapes. Didn't overdo things, made a diary of how I felt each day. I don't believe that rubbish about graded exercise, I knew how I felt. You will get better, Kathy. Get rid of stress. Do what you love - I actually found poetry helped. You will get better, love. This is the preservative in the Hep B immunisation I was forced to have in 1996 as a healthcare worker. I developed a severe immune system reaction to it, I could not get out of bed at first, my speech, language and memory were affected, my temperature control went haywire - my feet went blue and numb from cold in the middle of a hot summer, I could not recognise the value of coins (recognise the numbers) or understand language. A year later, most days, I couldn't walk to the door. My boss, who was immunised a couple of days later, developed reactive arthritis and could not walk for 6 months. I was off work for 2 years. Thiomersal was already implicated in a number of auto-immune system reactions in 'The Lancet' at that time. Please, please, do not let your children have it. I took my employer to the Union, I was found 15% disabled and the cause of that was found to be the immunisation, but I did not receive any compensation.
