Guest guest
Paul Harvey has been doing some sort of advertisement in which he warns against the dangers of radon. He says that, after smoking, it is the second most common cause of lung cancer. Then he stresses that granite, if it is anywhere in your home, is a common source of radon. I did a very easy search on the sources of radon, and as I suspected, granite is a very very rare source. Radon is radiation from the soil. I really enjoy Paul Harvey, but I am aware that you have to be careful when you listen to him because he doesn't get all of his facts straight. In this case I wonder if he is saying this because he has been an advertiser for imitation granite manufacturers? Bill
