Native Americans are forced to live in Reservations, almost all of them confined to the harshest and most desolute parts of the US.

If you are referring to our convict past...then YES!!! And I as an Australian take this remark as a personal insult. However I do not have convict blood as my forebears arrived here as free settlers from the UK and I belong to one of the largest and most famous ancestral clans in the World, but even if I did have convict ancestry I would be mighty proud of those amazing people who were transported to Australia as "convicts" for such misdeamenours as stealing a loaf of bread, removed from all their friends and family to a strange uninhabited country and were able to forge that inhospitable land into the magnificent Country it is today.
