This is the image that Alaska Governor Sarah Palin doesn’t want you to see: a wolf needlessly slaughtered by a state-permitted hunter with a rifle and a low-flying aircraft. Nearly 700 wolves have been killed this way, victims of the state’s brutal and unnecessary aerial hunting program.

Now similar programs have been proposed for the greater Yellowstone region, threatening the wolves we fought so hard to save from extinction.

Donate now to support our new no-holds-barred campaign to stop aerial hunting of wolves and help us run ads, mobilize activists and convince Congress to pass the Protect America’s Wildlife (PAW) Act -- new federal legislation to end needless and cruel aerial hunting of wolves and other wildlife.

Aerial hunting of wolves is opposed by hunters, conservationists and scientists alike. That’s why we’re running a new ad each day this week and kicking off an all-out press blitz intended to turn the national spotlight on aerial hunting of wolves.
