What is EARTH ALERTS

Earth Alerts is a Windows-based application that provides alert

notifications, reports, and imagery on many types of natural phenomenon that

are occurring real-time both worldwide as well as in specific locations within

the United States (including Guam, Puerto Rico, and the U.S. Virgin Islands).

Earth Alerts also lets you track weather and earthquake activity for Global

locations!

Earth Alerts makes use of the resources from organizations such as the

National Weather Service, U.S. Geological Survey and numerous other agencies to

identify what sort of things " Mother Earth " is currently doing.

To use Earth Alerts, you simply select the specific activity types

(earthquakes, tsunamis, weather, etc.) and the specific locations you are interested

in. The application will then automatically retrieve the latest information

from various live data feeds on the Internet, and then present it to you.

imagery, current conditions, etc. are certainly an important part of it, Earth

Alerts offers much more than that! After all, our planet can sometimes be quite

destructive to us " mere mortals " by offering up dangers in a variety

of ways! And so, the inspiration for Earth Alerts grew out of an idea to create

a single application that would collect information on ALL TYPES of natural

events/hazards.

Earth Alerts is a tool to provide you with a way to be notified immediately

whenever events such as tsunamis, earthquakes, volcanic eruptions,

hurricanes/typhoons, floods, wildfires, landslides, etc. occur near you as well

as elsewhere in the world. Earth Alerts gives you all this AND weather related

alerts and information!
