Good one Michael!

Yes I often express myself on the net - I love it - partly I think is that

to express yourself in words (unspoken) - unlike writing - is that you use

both hands to type which allows the brain an expansion and greater

awareness - more so than with written material where only one hand is used

to write with and therefore less brain function is used ......

Of the 32 lists I belong to I write nothing to 3 of them - but i like to

keep an eye on what is going one there - lol .......

In some lists I listen and learn and add 2 cents if I have them to share -

in the others I express my share of opinion or info ...... people rarely say

things how i see them and I would love it if there was more discussion -

often lists are full of other people's info - not the sender's info but

stunning things they have read somewhere else - often it is a trade in

info - important info but not too much sharing of the individual thoughts

and experiences .......

Sometimes I restrain myself in how I say things as antagonism reduces

receptivity in others and this is about communication not ear bashing or

bullying ........ people misunderstand anyway as English and American do

not always have the same humour or the same expressions - so one learns

about other cultures .......

I am often ignored when I send my posts - so then I reply to myself .......

Oh not fed up at all - pleased to see so much going on even though exciting

medical cures are repressed and death and disease are rife and exploited and

people are too fearful to take responsibility for their own diseases or

problems - these health lists do help if one has the courage to try things

.....

Even when i had a nasty dog bite recently people were urging me to go to

hospital - even tho they were aware that as a wound care nurse I am

constantly " tidying up " after hospital errors and disasters. It was great

to be dressing my own wound and optimizing the healing process - whereas

often as a nurse the " orders " have to be followed despite the lack of

apparent intelligence and flexibility that occurs ........

Thanks for the inspiration/opportunity!!

Best,

Jane
