I have it in my left inner ankle which is swollen, the muscles going up the inner calf seem to be affected with slight pain and tightness too. Guest guest Posted July 25, 2007 Report Share Posted July 25, 2007 Soyasee, Cherry Juice works great for gout. 2 oz. 3 to 4x a day. Just start out easy, can cause diarrhea if you get carried away. Takes about a gallon to get it going good. It rounds off the corners of the uric acid crystals and will melt them away if used consistently. I used to get non pasteurized (cooked) from a fruit stand, but Knudsen brand (which tastes burnt to me) and such will do the job about as well (From most stores). Watch the label to make sure it not diluted with other juices or water. 100% cherry juice is what you want. Naturalman Be a better Globetrotter. Get better travel answers from someone who knows.
